A Note from the Assessor

A Note from the Assessor:

I will be conducting a review of all the buildings in the Township starting in the Spring of 2020, as soon as the snow melts.  This inspection is being done in order to review and verify the building information that is on the record card for each parcel in the Township. This review is necessary because of the new AMAR reviews that the State is conducting where they are reviewing parcel record card information.  I will be visiting each parcel that has a building to take a new picture of the structure and to measure the structure for the sketch on the record cards. If you have vacant land, there will be no review.

I will not be inspecting the inside of the structure.  The property owner does not need to be home at the time of the inspection.  I do ask that you please tie up or enclose your dog if it is outside so that no one gets bitten during the inspection.  Individual appointments cannot be made, since this work will be done when the weather is cooperating, so any given date and time cannot be guaranteed.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at: LKARRIO@GMAIL.COM

Thank you for your cooperation in getting this review accomplished for the upcoming year!

Lisa Karrio, MAAO (3)   Allouez Township Assessor

Absentee ballots are available for all elections.

Due to the passage of the statewide ballot proposal 18-3 in November, all eligible and registered voters in Michigan may now request an absent voter ballot without providing a reason.

Check your voter registration at Michigan Voter Information Center

You can get additional information regarding Absentee Voting at Michigan Secretary of State.

We have a Permanent Absentee Voters List, which means you would automatically be sent an Absentee Voters Application for every election.

For more information, or to get on the permanent list, contact Renee in our office at (906) 337-2302 or email:
