Allouez Township contracts with Waste Management for garbage collection. Currently there are 500 customers that utilize the service. It is an optional service that property owners can choose to opt in or opt out of. Changes in participation status should be made in writing and submitted no later than October 1st for the following calendar year.
Township Garbage Pick-Up
Items to be picked up should be placed at the curb BEFORE 7:00 a.m, the morning of your garbage collection. Special bins or bags are not required for garbage.
Waste Management honors the following holidays:
New Year’s Day
If your garbage pick-up day happens to fall on one of the above holidays, pickup will be delayed one day. If the holiday falls on the weekend, there is no disruption of service.
Please note: Waste Management pulls their trucks in times of bad weather. When they do so, garbage collection will be delayed. When this occurs they will typically let local radio stations know. We will also post a notice on our Facebook page.
